As a benefit of your employment with Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air, you are eligible to join your credit union, established by and for your fellow employees. For over 57 years, your credit union has continued to be a member owned financial institution, that members can trust and where they will always experience the best value and service.

The Credit Union began as The Starliner Credit Union on October 1, 1952. It was located in Anchorage, Alaska, had 27 charter members and assets of $147.91.

Today we've grown to over $52 million in assets and proudly serve over 8600 current and former employees of Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, and their family members.

Throughout the years, we've changed our name to reflect the name changes and additions that make up the Alaska Air Group today.

When you join Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air Employees Federal Credit Union, you are joining one of the few remaining "single sponsorship" credit unions. We are proud of the fact that we continue to serve a unique group of employees. We don't try to be all things to all people. Our goal is to serve the employees and eligible family members of the Alaska Air Group. Helping you meet your financial needs in a safe, secure environment, where we pride ourselves on taking the time to get to know our members and are committed to helping members achieve financial success.

The Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air Employees Federal Credit Union is a responsive financial cooperative dedicated to fulfilling the financial needs of our members. We are committed to maintaining financial soundness within the operation of the credit union. Providing quality service to a diversified membership is essential to the philosophy and successful operation of our business.
